Jimmy and Isaiah

Here is a picture Teresa sent me of the boys before one of their games...cute huh? These two boys love each other very much and I know that everyday at 3 pm Isaiah will be over playing with Jimmy outside. They have the same bike, the same scooter and most of the same toys, these two have so much in common and get along very well.

Preschool or Bust

I have been so proud of Jimmy during school, he has really been focused and working so hard. I have started a new strategy and it has worked so well. I now have hung normal visuals that they use in a pre-school setting all around the house on his eye level so he can look at them everyday during and after school. He has been able to get through the whole day without getting bored, so I guess he needs more stimulation than Taylor does to keep him interested. I will continue to work with him through the summer so he will be ready to jump into Kindergarten.

Jimmy has had a cold the last few days so we have been trying to get him to rest as much as possible, but with Jimmy, that is pretty hard to do. He is ready to run around and play no matter how sick he is.

He had a game Tuesday but I was unable to get pictures because I became one of the team mom's since our team mom quit Monday night after someone brought a snack the same night she did. She made a horrible scene over this and humiliated the coaches wife in front of all the parents, it was absolutely ridiculous. Teresa, Samantha and I took over and we had a really good system going with all the kids. I love watching Jimmy play and I will have both of the kids on a team next year. Eric never misses a game and actually had concession stand duty Tuesday night.

Aunt Ste got to witness Jimmy during school and she was amazed how he can write and the things he knows, I have never seen a child learn the way he does and I have worked with many pre-schoolers and I have never experienced a child that could write a letter or number just by looking at it. I know I am his mother, but this is just from my other experiences, he blows me away everytime I see him do this.

Jimmy's First Game

Jimmy's very first T-Ball game was today and I have many pictures and videos. His team is the Mosaic and he is #11. After opening ceremonies, we took Jimmy down for a pancake breakfast so he would be ready to play the game. He really wasn't sure that he wanted to play this morning but once he got out there he did great and had a fun time. They had many inflatable slides that the kids got to play on after the game.
